Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) Hematologist/Oncologist Dr. Carly Varela attended the Childhood Cancer Awareness Bill Signing with Governor Terry McAuliffe in Richmond, VA in honor of September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month on Monday, August 31. Patients and parents of both PSV and Children’s National Medical Center were amongst the invited guests.
“This was an amazing event and it was such an honor to participate in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month,” Dr. Varela said.
