How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I have worked here for 2 years as a nurse, and 19 years as a nurse practitioner. I have worked in northern Virginia for 27 years. I love northern Virginia for its diversity and wealth of culture.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
I enjoy outdoor activities, bike riding, and saltwater aquarium maintenance.
Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
It makes me so proud to see my patients grow up and thrive.
If you weren’t a doctor, what profession would you most likely be doing and why?
I can’t imagine being anything else. Maybe a marine biologist.
