Michael McCown, DO
Dr. Mike McCown is originally from St. Louis, MO. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH and of Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He completed his Pediatric Residency in 2004 at the National Capital Consortium, which included Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital; and his Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship in 2011 at Boston Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. McCown served 21 years in the US Army and has worked as a Flight Surgeon, General Pediatrician, and Pediatric Pulmonologist. He has held a variety of leadership positions to include Center Director for the Triservice Cystic Fibrosis Center. His professional interests include Cystic Fibrosis, medically complex children, and exercise physiology.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, helping to coach youth and blind hockey, and cycling.
