Where did you grow up?
Los Altos, California
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I love being able to really get to know my patients over the course of their treatment. In pediatrics, we develop relationships not only our patients but also their parents, siblings, and other family members.
How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I did my residency at Georgetown University before heading to the West Coast for fellowship at Stanford University. My husband and I met in DC and we were always finding ways to come back to this area! We are excited to share the rich culture and history of this city with our 2 young sons.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
I love to try new restaurants and go hiking with my family. I also enjoy listening to podcasts and audiobooks while I’m commuting or doing chores.
