Where did you grow up?
Buffalo, NY
How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I have been in VA most of my professional career. Starting in 1994, I have worked in primary care pediatrics, urgent care pediatrics, and adolescent medicine. The best thing about working in this area is the extensive resources available for establishing a network of colleagues.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
I have three children, as well as a beautiful puppy, Stella, who was rescued from Blacksburg, VA. I am a competitive Masters swimmer, as well as a sometimes piano player. I LOVE to read

Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
My proudest accomplishment has to be my children, who have grown up to be wonderful, compassionate, hard working adults with goals and accomplishments of their own. I am also lucky to have enjoyed success in my career over the years, which has been fulfilling and challenging
If you weren’t a doctor, what profession would you most likely be doing and why?
I am a FBI profiler at heart
