COMMUNITY PARTNERS:

Founded in 2014, Ellie's Hats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing financial support and more to children with cancer and their families. Ellie's Hats specialized in donating hats and other items, making financial contributions and fulfilling 'Grant a Wish' opportunities for children with cancer. 

 

Tell Me Town was created by national award winning author, Cindy Chambers as a place where complex health and safety information is made easier to understand through delightgful characters, stories and analogies.  It is also the place where the characters from The Beamer Book Series and Tell Me Town Books live.


Tracy's Kids is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization helping young cancer patients and their families cope with the emotional stress and trauma of cancer and its treatment. Tracy’s Kids uses art therapy to engage with young patients, their siblings and parents so that they can express feelings and reflect on their treatment experiences. 

 

Jack and Barbara Nicklaus founded the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation in 2004, in an effort to provide families access to world-class pediatric healthcare. Collaborating with pediatric hospitals across the country, the Foundation has grown from a vision to reality, supporting innovative programs focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood illness. 

 

The local D.C, Maryland, and Virginia Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation serves more than 165,000+ IBD patients in our community, as well as their caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and supporters.
