Pediatric Specialists of Virginia’s Ambulatory Surgery Received AAAHC Reaccreditation

Feb 19, 2018

Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) is excited to announce that our pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center has officially received reaccreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) in late February, 2018 for another three years!

The AAAHC is the leader in ambulatory health care accreditation as they have set the bar for developing standards to advance and promote patient safety, quality and value for ambulatory health care through peer-based accreditation processes, education, and research.

Therefore, an organization that receives AAAHC accreditation means its healthcare system/ambulatory surgery center meets or exceeds nationally-recognized standards for quality of care and patient safety.

We would like to thank all of our clinical and administrative staff members for their hard work, attention to detail, and dedication it took to go through the AAAHC accreditation survey and successfully obtain reaccreditation.

Maintaining an ambulatory surgery center environment that is focused on quality of care, patient safety, and efficiency for the patients and families we serve is something we’re committed to each day.
