Where did you grow up?
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I became a nurse practitioner, because I truly enjoy caring for my patients particularly with the pediatric population.
How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I have practiced as a nurse practitioner in this area for the past five years and have been working in healthcare for 14 years and love it!
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
When I’m not working I love to travel internationally. I love experiencing different cultures!
Do you volunteer? If so, where?
I mentor with an organization called Capital Education Partners. They are a wonderful organization that pairs mentors with high school students to help them make a smooth transition into high school and continue into college.
Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
I love being a nurse practitioner and wouldn’t choose to do anything else!
