Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I broke my leg when I was five, I had a crush on my orthopaedic doctor and decided I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
How long have you practiced in the Washington, DC area and what do you like most about it?
I practiced in the Washington, DC area for twenty months and I like the diversity of the patient population.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
I love to be with my family doing activities from golfing to hiking to watching movies- I am often found on the golf course.
Do you volunteer? If so, where?
Yes, I volunteer at my children's school and for their swim team.
Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
My proudest accomplishment in my personal life is being a mother, as a provider I enjoy moments I can make a child or parent relaxed in the office or hospital.
If you weren’t a doctor, what profession would you most likely be doing and why?
If I was not a doctor I would be a Marine Biologist or a Park Ranger. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains and oceans.
