Clinic Locations: Fairfax

Where did you grow up?
I am Ohio born and bred. Lived in Cleveland for first half of life and then Cincinnati for other half.
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I became a provider because I wanted to help guide patients through the healthcare process. Alleviating worries and making things seem more understandable is something I really enjoy. I have been an athlete my entire life and played golf at Bucknell. I wanted to help other young athletes work through orthopedic issues. I had a very pivotal moment as an adolescent when I was diagnosed with scoliosis. I remember being scared and overwhelmed, not knowing what this meant for the future. The medical provider I saw made me feel comfortable and reassured. Being able to now be that provider to give guidance for patients with scoliosis is something I am very passionate about.
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
Outside of practice, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going to Pilates classes, and traveling to different places around the world.
Describe your proudest accomplishment as a provider and/or in your personal life:
During my sophomore year of college while on the varsity golf team, we won our program's very first Patriot League Championship. Seeing all the years of hard work come together is something I will never forget.
