8th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fair

PSV Hosts our 8th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fairfax, VA – Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) will return to hosting our 8th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fair in person at the Reston Town Center on Saturday, August 27 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Participants are encouraged to bring family, friends, and pets to join in and support PSV and our philanthropic efforts.

If families cannot attend the in-person event, they can still support PSV during our virtual 5K event – from August 27-September 10, 2022. Virtual participants will have the opportunity to complete their 5K in a variety of active ways such as walking, running, biking, swimming, rollerblading, and more.

PSV’s Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fair is our single fundraiser event. All donations and proceeds benefit the care and support of families with children experiencing serious health problems, important education & research initiatives, technologies to aid in patient care, or other areas of greatest need.

5K Registrant Pricing

Early Bird In-Person Event Rates (valid through July 31st):

  • 5 years old and under FREE
  • Ages 6-12 $15 per ticket
  • Ages 13 and Up $35 per ticket

Virtual ONLY Event Rates:

  • Ages 6-12 $10 per ticket
  • Ages 13 and Up $25 per ticket

 

After July 31st the prices increase to $40 per person. From August 26th till the day of the event, tickets will be $45.

Last year, PSV virtual event attracted nearly 160 participants and raised $28,638.48. More than 400 registrants are expected for this year’s event and the goal this year is to raise $75,000.

In-person event participants will also be able to enjoy the Health Fair in and near the Reston Town Center Pavilion. PSV and partnering sponsors will provide more than 15 booths with fun activities, live entertainment refreshments, education opportunities, giveaways, and much more.

Sponsors currently include: Aetna, NFP Omnipod/Insulet, Advantage Physical Therapy, Firstcare Ortho, ProventionBio, and Tandem.
