Pediatric Specialists of Virginia’s Dr. Elizabeth Yang (Hematology/Oncology & Pediatric Sickle Program Director) and Dr. Robin Dulman (Hematology/Oncology) of our Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, were featured in Channel 16 Fairfax’s recent video presentation on sickle cell disease in recognition of Sickle Cell Awareness Month (September).
Drs. Yang and Dulman along with one of our sickle cell patients, Solomon and his family, discussed the challenges of being diagnosed and living with the serious and chronic diseases.
