Fairfax, VA – Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) welcomes all families, friends, runners, and event-friendly dog to its 5th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health fair on Saturday, September 28th from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at Reston Town Center.  

All proceeds from PSV’s single fundraiser will go towards supporting children and families dealing with serious and chronic illnesses including cancer, diabetes, autism, kidney disease, stomach issues, and seizures, to name but a few. 

Packet pickup and registration will begin at 7:30 am, followed by a brief warmup at 8:15, the official race kickoff at 8:30 am. 

The health fair will also start at 8:30 am and feature nearly 30 healthcare-related sponsor booths, music courtesy of guest emcee DJ Chris Styles, giveaways, silent auction, kid-friendly activities such as face painting, and singing and dancing with Disney-themed characters. 

Last year PSV was able to raise more than $60,000 and had over 450 registrants.  This year’s fundraising goal is $75,000 and  500 or more registrants to help support PSV’s mission of providing the best pediatric specialty care to the children and families of Northern Virginia and nearby communities.
