PSV and Inova Children’s Hospital proudly invite all pediatric healthcare providers to attend a very special presentation from renowned Pediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Stanford Shulman next Thursday, August 2nd.
Dr. Shulman, a Virginia H. Rogers Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, will be speaking about Group A Streptococcus during Pediatric Grand Rounds at the Inova Physician Conference Center (Cyrus Vesuna Auditorium, 2nd Level) at 8:00 AM. This is a special chance to learn from an accomplished national expert on a key health issue, which affects all children.
Dr. Shulman has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles and is the primary author for the Infectious Diseases Society of America guidelines on Group A Streptococcal pharyngitis. He has also received a lifetime achievement award in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2011.
