PSV's 5th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fair Was A Success!

Oct 03, 2019

Pediatric Specialists of Virginia’s (PSV) 5th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K & Family Health Fair was held on Saturday, September 28 at Reston Town Center Pavilion (Reston, Virginia).  We are excited to announce that the 5K & Family Health Fair had nearly 350 registrants and raised close to $50,000 to support children and families dealing with serious and chronic illnesses.

Christopher Lawlor, MD, Medical Director of Cancer and Blood Disorders and PSV Philanthropy Chair, told The Connections’ Mercia Hobson that, “Proceeds from the event go to direct patient care as well as research, education, and innovations. We have charity care for patients who have limited resources. We care for thousands each year, from infancy to twenty-one with some patients continuing after that.”

Many thanks to all of our patients and families, registrants, donors, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and community partners for your generosity and support.  This successful fundraiser couldn’t have been possible without you.

Thank you for choosing to Race To Make It All Better for Northern Virginia’s children. We can’t wait to see you next year!
