Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Michigan and moved to DC for PA school. I fell in love with the culture, diversity, and comparative mild winters and have been here since.
Why did you become a doctor and why did you choose your specialty?
I chose to become a medical professional because it is something I have been passionate about since childhood. I specifically chose pediatrics because it allows for the unique opportunity to impact and educate multiple generations at once, both the child and the parent(s)/guardian(s).
What do you most enjoy doing outside of your clinical practice, when you’re not working?
When I am not working I spend my time with family, friends, and relaxing with my dog.
