Meet Our Specialists

Debbie Cleveland, NP is a nurse practitioner at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV), specializing in neurology, focusing on epilepsy, ADHD, autism, Tourette syndrome, and headaches. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is committed to providing comprehensive care to children and their families.

Debbie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 2009, followed by a graduate degree from Georgetown University in 2012 and a Post-Master’s Nursing Certificate from Catholic University in 2023. She has received several awards, including the Catholic University Newton-Bennett Nursing Scholarship and the Elizabeth Hawkins Walsh Scholarship.

Practicing in the Washington, DC area since 2010, Debbie became an advanced practice nurse in 2013. Her research contributions include studies on diabetes management and the impact of Hospital Medical Homes on pediatric care, presented at notable conferences.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys family outings to the National Zoo and beach trips, while also volunteering as a Girl Scouts of America troop leader and with preschoolers at her local Sunday school.
