Amanda Batistatos, NP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in neurology at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV). She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and her nursing degree from George Mason University. Amanda received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining PSV, she spent more than seven years as a pediatric nurse at Inova Children’s Hospital, caring for patients on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Orthopedics/Trauma unit. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Amanda’s interest in pediatric neurology developed through her studies and experience as a pediatric nurse, where she saw how neurologic conditions can affect children across a variety of specialties. She has always had a passion for helping others, particularly children, and values the relationships she builds with patients and their families. Amanda grew up in Northern Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going on walks. She sees patients at PSV’s Fairfax location.
