AYA Talks 2026: Virtual Education Series for Adolescents & Young Adults with Cancer

PSV’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) is proud to host AYA Talks 2026 — a free, virtual educational series designed specifically for Adolescents & Young Adults (AYAs) ages 15–39 who are affected by cancer. This four-part series will run monthly from April to July, and covers topics that matter most to the AYA cancer community, including education and career navigation, sexual health and body image, financial wellness, relationships, and more.

All sessions will be held online via Zoom and are open to both patients and their caregivers.

Second Session:

  • Topic: Healthy Living for the AYA Journey

This session will explore all things health and wellness during and after AYA cancer treatment.

  • Topic: LGBTQ+ Experiences in Cancer Care

  • Presenter: Susan Salek, Movement and Meditation Facilitator from the Smith Center, and Alex Courtin, LPC, ATR-BC

This session will explore support, healing, and community for LGBTQ+ cancer patients. Space will be provided to listen and learn, followed by an experiential meditation.
