Dear Patient, Families, & 5K Supporters, 

At Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) the safety of our staff, patients/families, and our community is our top priority.  According to the CDC, Virginia is an area of high community transmission for COVID-19 with cases experiencing a sharp increase.  We have also just learned that COVID-19 has shut down our ability to use our standard 5K running course, the W&OD trail.  After carefully considering the situation, we feel that the safest course of action is to transition our 7th Annual Race To Make It All Better 5K to a virtually only event.   

Our virtual-only 5K will be held September 25-October 10.  Participants can safely complete their times on any course of their choosing and submit 5K photos to us at PSVCommunications@PSVCare.org for a chance to win various raffle prizes.  We will still have family-style entertainment and learning opportunities held virtually throughout the 5K event timeframe and race t-shirts available for pick up outside of our Hamaker Court Location – 3023 Hamaker Court, Fairfax, VA 22031 – on dates to be announced – or via mail if you so choose.  In addition, our silent auction – which features amazing packages including vacation, shopping and entertainment offerings will continue as planned.  Bidders can place their bids from Sept. 25^th to Oct. 10^th.  The bidding site address will be announced prior to its go-live date of September 10^th.  We will provide item details in the lead up to September 10^th, so everyone has a sneak peak of our amazing packages.
