Alessandra Scavitto, CPNP, is a pediatric neurology nurse practitioner at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV), specializing in general pediatric neurology, epilepsy, and headaches. Board certified in both primary care pediatrics and neuroscience nursing, she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Virginia University.
Alessandra’s passion for patient care stems from her own experiences as a pediatric patient, inspiring her to provide the same compassionate care she once received. Her interest in neurology grew from caring for her grandmother with a movement disorder. She began her nursing career at Children’s National Hospital, working in the neuroscience unit for five years before becoming a nurse practitioner. After practicing in Philadelphia, she returned to the DMV in 2024. Outside of work, Alessandra enjoys outdoor activities, hot yoga, hiking, and exploring new restaurants.
