Eleanor (Ellie) Preta, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedics and sports medicine at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV). With clinical expertise in hand and upper extremities, fractures, congenital anomalies, and sports medicine, she is passionate about helping children and young adults heal and thrive. A graduate of Long Island University/Brooklyn Hospital Center and the University of Delaware, Ellie previously worked as an athletic trainer before transitioning to pediatric orthopaedics, where she enjoys the resilience and adaptability of young patients.

Growing up in Potomac, MD, Ellie was inspired to pursue medicine through her experiences caring for her mother, who had advanced multiple sclerosis. Outside of her practice, she stays active with her three children, enjoys hiking and DIY home projects, and remains connected to her community through volunteer work.
