Dr. James E. Clayton is a seasoned pediatric pulmonologist with over 40 years of experience, board-certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. He earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.
Since relocating to the Washington, DC area in 1984, Dr. Clayton has served at notable institutions, including Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Inova Health System, focusing on personalized patient care. His expertise has earned him recognition as a “Top Doctor” by Arlington Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Washingtonian, along with accolades such as the “Top Pediatric Student” at Creighton University School of Medicine, awarded by the Nebraska chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
