Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) is proud to announce that 11 of its physicians have been named to the inaugural Top Doctors Hall of Fame by Washingtonian. This first-ever Hall of Fame class recognizes physicians who have appeared on the publication’s Top Doctors list at least five times over the past 10 years, placing them among an elite group of medical professionals in the region.
Hall of Fame honorees are featured in a special section of the March 2026 issue of Washingtonian, available on newsstands and online today, February 19, 2026.
“This recognition speaks to the lasting impact our physicians make every day,” said Dr. Laurel Blakemore, PSV CEO and Orthopaedic Surgeon. “To be acknowledged repeatedly by peers over many years is a meaningful reflection of their dedication—not only to clinical excellence, but to the children and families who place their trust in them during some of life’s most challenging moments.”
We congratulate the following PSV physicians who were named to the Washingtonian Top Doctors Hall of Fame:
About Pediatric Specialists of Virginia
Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) was collaboratively created by Children’s National Hospital and Inova Health System in 2013 as a pediatric specialty group dedicated to caring for the needs of children in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. Its mission is to provide superb pediatric specialty care through clinical excellence, innovation, education, research, and family-centered care. As a medical group practice with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, our specialists care for children during hospital stays at Children’s National and Inova Children’s Hospital and throughout their childhood on an ongoing, outpatient basis. Many are recognized as “Top Docs” by Washingtonian, Arlington Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine and have appeared in U.S. News & World Report as leading experts in their fields.
