Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) is proud to announce that 16 of our physicians have been recognized on Washingtonian magazine’s 2025 “Top Doctors” list. This annual honor spotlights the region’s most respected and trusted physicians as chosen by their peers, underscoring PSV’s commitment to excellence across our pediatric specialties.
“Our physicians’ dedication to children and families shines through in every patient interaction,” said Dr. Laurel Blakemore, PSV CEO, orthopaedic surgeon, and 2025 Washingtonian Top Doctor honoree. “This recognition reflects their exceptional skill, compassion, and teamwork — the same qualities that make PSV a leader in advancing pediatric care across Northern Virginia.”
This year’s honorees embody PSV’s core values of excellence, integrity, and family-centered care. Their leadership and commitment continue to elevate the standard of pediatric medicine in our community and beyond.
Congratulations to PSV’s 2025 Washingtonian “Top Doctors” below — and to the entire PSV team for helping make “Making It All Better” a reality for every child we serve.

About Pediatric Specialists of Virginia
Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) was collaboratively created by Children’s National Hospital and Inova Health System in 2013 as a pediatric specialty group dedicated to caring for the needs of children in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. Its mission is to provide superb pediatric specialty care through clinical excellence, innovation, education, research, and family-centered care. As a medical group practice with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, our specialists care for children during hospital stays at Children’s National and Inova Children’s Hospital and throughout their childhood on an ongoing, outpatient basis. Many are recognized as “Top Docs” by The Washingtonian, Arlington Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine and have appeared in U.S. News & World Report as leading experts in their fields.
